Outfit of the Day: Norma Kamali Every Whitcha Way

Please forgive me for my lack of outfit posts.  I have been working so a lot of my outfits have been centered around work.  Todays outfit was inspired by lack of clean clothes...LOL.   This is actually my Norma Kamali convertible dress (only $20).  If you don't buy anything else the Norma Kamali Convertible Dress should be that essential item.  They give you six different ways to wear it, but I know I have found at least 10 more.   I pushed it down and made it into a pencil skirt.  On top I have on a Jibri blouse ($50 on sale from MarieDenee.com) and a vest from Target.  The vest was on sale for $9.99, which is still available.  My shoes are Christian Siriano for Payless.    I wanted to look like I had a pocket watch so I took a chain necklace and draped it in the pocket of the vest.  My summer hair consists of just wearing my natural curls...it is just too hot and humid to try anything else.  I hope you like!!!

Sneak Peek: Jibri Fall/Winter 2010/11 Collection

My breath was a little taken away looking at this pictures.  Jibri has done it again with sheer innovation and creativity. From the designs to the concept...everything is so flawless.  I know Im always partial to Jibri...I just love the line so much.  And yes those are actual models!!!  Love Love Love!!!

Curvy Girls at NYC Fashion Week?

I got an email this morning and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it.  Here is the press release below:

Partnering with The Creative Coalition, OneStopPlus.com will celebrating that 62% of American women who are size 14+ are just as fashionable as their size 2 counterparts, by sending Spring 2011 styles down the runway on the industry’s top plus-size models.

Separate from “Full Figured Fashion Week,” which takes place in June, OneStopPlus.com wanted to bring clothing for real women to NYFW, where it has never before been featured in such a manner, due to the recent confluence surrounding the acceptance of plus-sizes in mainstream media. The show will take place at the Frederick P. Rose Hall at the Atrium at Jazz at Lincoln Center, at 1PM on September 15th.

Who Won It & How They Wore It: Brittany

I have been meaning to do a section like this for some time.  We rarely seen the winners of the contests strutting their stuff in the much coveted goods us bloggers give away.   Our first feature is the lovely Brittany, an aspiring model, who just recently had a photo shoot in which her stylist picked the dress that she won from a giveaway I had last Fall.   I gave the dress away, because although cute it was just not my style.  The dress, by the way, came from Dorothy Perkins.  Well Brittany and her stylists really turned it up and Brittany looks fabulous!!! HEEELLLLOOOO NUUUURRRSSSEEE!!!!
